Components designed for use in the passenger cabins and interiors of vehicles require properties that not only ensure the safety of the vehicle and its occupants, but the quality of the product. We carry out research into a vast array of textile components; upholstery, seat covers, door panels, carpets, mats, boot lining, rear trays, ceilings and others fitted inside a car.

LABORATORY
AUTOMOTIVE AND TRANSPORT LABORATORY
We strive to respond to the demands and needs of our customers by offering a global service for suppliers and manufacturers of vehicle interior components and public transport.
Our automotive laboratory monitors quality parameters, durability, safety, comfort, aesthetics and environmental sustainability.
Each carmaker has their own tests for material ageing, physical and chemical ageing, emissions and acoustics.
AUTOMOTIVE R&D PROJECTS
The rGENERA project
We have been involved in the development of competitively-priced textiles using spinning, carding and weaving reused carbon fibre processes to manufacture thermoplastic composites with enhanced mechanical properties.
The LIGHTCOMP 2020 project
This project researches and develops lightweight, multifunctional composites for use in private transport. High-performance textile-based structures were created using embroidery technology and technical fibres.
TRAINING
The center is specialized in courses for manufacturers in the automotive sector who need highly specialized technical training. The courses are face-to-face or online and taught by a highly qualified professional team.
