BALLISTIC TESTS AND TRIALS TO ASSESS THE IMPACT OF BULLETS AND KNIVES
We performs ballistic tests to assess the impact protection provided by an article against projectiles and fragments, determining penetration, trauma, and v50 in compliance with international standards. We carry out specific tests to evaluate bullet-proof vests, helmets, visors, doors and bulletproof vehicle armour and windows. We also take care of carrying out tests on protective vests/bleaded weapons or combined with ballistic protection.

Our laboratory is equipped with Spain’s only ENAC-approved ballistic and knife testing range

The laboratory is ISO 17025-approved to carry out tests in accordance with NIJ, EN, HOSDB, VPAM and STANAG standards and specific requirements of the applicant

High-speed camera to record the performance and behaviour of the material at the moment of impact, a scanner to study the resulting trauma and a Yaw Angle measuring device to assess trajectory and the angle of impact

OTHER TESTS
SPECTROPHOTOMETRY
For mimetised fabrics, we have a state-of-the-art spectrophotometer for wavelengths between 175nm and 3300nm.
Among other applications, it can determine remission and transmission in the near infrared range (NIR, from 750 to 2600 nm) and the visible and ultraviolet wavelengths of different typs of materials.
