AITEX will attend the VII edition of Home Textiles Premium by TextilHogar in September, the only international home textile fair in Spain that is held at Feria Valencia from September 19 to 22.
AITEX will once again attend the Home Textiles Premium by TextilHogar Fair, the annual event for textile manufacturers to present the latest developments in design, trends and innovation for home, hotel, office and restaurant interior decoration. AITEX, always at the service of home textiles, will participate in the fair presenting the latest advances and innovations in the sector, as well as the services and certifications that we offer to the textile sector.
Lines of research and certificates that AITEX will announce at Feria Valencia
> In terms of R&D, AITEX will present its lines of research and projects focused on home textiles.
> Presentation of the study of the Home Textile Market and Habitat on the behavior of the home textile consumer in Spain.
> Presentation of certificates for home textiles: Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®, softness, comfort for carpets and rugs, durable fabrics, IMO certificate for boats, biodegradability and compostability, and antimicrobial (antibacterial and antifungal).
«Home Textile Trends 2024» conference
Carmen Jover, director of the Valhabitat 2023 project and expert in trends, design and management of textile products; Malén Segarra, an industrial technical engineer who is an expert in trend research and product development, and Paqui Orihuel, a fashion designer who is an expert in product research and development, will give a presentation on the monograph ‘Home Textile Trends 2024’.
This study shows the result of the investigation of trends focused on the textile product for the home and that has been carried out throughout the current year 2023. In this sense, six trends have been detected whose central axis is the home, one of them the ‘Eco-tech’, a transversal innovation and that is supported by product proposals, textures, graphic motifs or color ranges.
Conference «How to improve sustainability for home textiles. Discover the OEKO-TEX® certification»
Consuelo Carbonell, head of the AITEX OEKO-TEX® department, will give a conference at Home Textiles to publicize these certifications and their applications to the home textile sector. During the presentation, the advantages of including the OEKO-TEX® certification in the value chain of home textile products will be transferred, guaranteeing the legal conformity of textile products within the European framework. Standardized solutions will be addressed with which customers can optimize their production processes in a more sustainable way through product labels such as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
