BUSINESS DYNAMISATION

WE ARE REVITALISING THE TEXTILE SECTOR

One of the fundamental strategic axes for AITEX is the revitalisation of the business community in textiles and all other sectors where we represent manufacturers.
The aim is to make the private sector more competitive by finding solutions to new challenges and promoting sustainable industrial growth through a series of actions that promote interaction with different audiences.
With regard to society in general, we are committed to improving the visibility of the sector among different groups, including children and young people by transmitting the importance of the values of a modern, cutting-edge sector with scientific and technological advances in an increasingly sustainable industry.

AITEX CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

WE CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SOCIETY

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a core element of AITEX’s strategy and development. We support the United Nations Global Compact and implement all its principles on labour rights, human rights, education and environment. We consider it essential to act responsibly and ethically in all activities affecting our stakeholders. As a sign of this, we carry out and promote environmental actions and sponsor initiatives that are developed for the benefit of society.

DONATIONS AND SOCIAL AID

Every year, we promote the AITEX Programme of Donations to Social Projects and Initiatives, through which we encourage initiatives aimed at helping priority groups and those at risk of social exclusion.

We finance projects by non-profit organisations that work for the benefit of society, favouring the coverage of basic needs and the personal and social support provided by these groups.

SUPPORTING UNICEF’S WORK IN SCHOOLS IN AFRICA AND ASIA

For many years now, the Institute has had an agreement with UNICEF to support their Child Friendly Schools Programme to promote the education of children in Asia and Africa.

The initiative pays special attention to the most vulnerable: children with disabilities, ethnic minorities and those living in remote areas and in extreme poverty. Efforts focus on boosting enrolment in pre-school education, improving the quality of primary education and encouraging the transition to secondary education.
