On the 16th December 2020, the European Commission published the Official Journal of the European Union, including Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/2096, which modifies Regulation (EC) nº1907/2006 REACH Annexe XVII.
Annexe XVII of REACH describes the restrictions on manufacturing, selling and use of certain substances.
The new version contains the following modifications, among others:

- The standards mentioned in Appendix 10 applying to azoic dyes are substituted for new harmonised versions.
- Certain indications are corrected and category 1A and or 1B are added to entries 28, 29 and 30 to align them with Reglamento CLP, EC 1272/2008.
