On 15th November 2021, the European Union published Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1992.
The Commission, together with CEN, has assessed whether harmonised standards EN 71-2: 2020, EN 71-3: 2019 + A1: 2021, EN 71-4: 2020 and EN 71-13: 2021 drafted by CEN comply with the request M / 445 of 9th July 2009. The four harmonised standards meet the requirements they are intended to cover and which are set out in Directive 2009/48/EC. The references of those standards should therefore be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Decision repeals the previous Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/867.
This set of toy safety rules entered into force on 16th November 2021, the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the EU (OJEU).
